The Tiger Who Came to Tea

Based on Britain’s best-loved picture book by Judith Kerr, the Olivier Award nominated smash hit show The Tiger Who Came to Tea returns to the West End for Summer 2022.

The doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea. Who could it possibly be? What they certainly don’t expect to see at the door is a big, stripy tiger!

Join the tea-guzzling tiger in this delightful family show; packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos! A stunning stage adaptation of the classic tale of teatime mayhem... expect to be surprised!

  • My grandsons loved it.

    12 September 2022

The play/musical version kept close to Judith Kerr’s story. The repetition and audience participation was necessary for such a young audience to keep them interested and involved. We would have liked the tiger to have a voice rather than improvise. My three year old got involved with shouting and got more out of it than the two year old who watched from start to finish without a sound! I bought ten tickets in total for two different dates. The first we couldn’t make because of flight delays so it was rather expensive. I felt there should have been some concessions.

  • Disappointing

    4 September 2022

The show was slow and a bit boring. We were disappointed that the Robbie Williams song was not included which would have made it much more fun.
