“One of the most successful musicals of all time” (BBC News), Wicked is already the 12th longest running production in West End history.
Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked imagines a beguiling backstory and future possibilities to the lives of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters from ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, revealing the decisions and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely university friends on their journey to becoming Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
This musical phenomenon is the winner of over 100 major international awards, including three Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, eleven WhatsOnStage Awards, and a Grammy.

I liked the songs and the wizard. (By A, age 8) Amazing how they got the witch into the air in ‘defying gravity’. I didn’t like the inaccuracy when the witch melted. (By H, age 10)

The show was good and very well presented. We had a stop during the first half which was a little annoying but quickly rectified. The group of people behind us came in very late, constantly chatting and kicking our chairs, they were asked to stop but didn’t. I think people this late should not be admitted especially as they were obviously intoxicated.
