We took our granddaughter to see the Lion King, as she has wanted to see it for ages.
She is only 4 and a half, but she was totally engaged and loved the show, and the dancing.
The sets and costumes are amazing, its a real feel good way to spend the afternoon.

Visiting this show was a must for me, and something I’ve wanted to see for a number of years. So when my husband purchased tickets for my birthday, I was very excited.
What a disappointment!
From ordering overpriced drinks and snacks, to the tired feel of the theatre and the costumes - I was left feeling a little underwhelmed.
Timone was a puppeteer in some green garb, while Pumba was a guy dressed in an outfit, which seemed a little disjointed.
The cast were good, but some of the backing support seemed to be going through the motions.
Overall a disappointment, especially for the cost theatres are charging for these productions.

People I spoke to told me how good this show was, but nothing prepares you for how magical the experience truly is. I laughed, cried and was so gripped! The actors are incredible and it’s the best show I have seen and ever will see!

I was quite upset and disappointed because the show had a technical hitch.we had to leave after the first half otherwise we would of missed our coach. I was wondering if we could have a voucher so we could see it again through to the end .Thanks Alison Overd

The sound was not good I could not hear the dialogue well . The singing was not up to west end standard. At times felt like I was watching a school play. Ensemble costumes and choreography not good. Overall it missed the mark . That said that the actors playing Rafiki, Scar,Pumba and Timon and Zazu were very good indeed.

I've seen Lion King five times always the 7-7:30 show, I think that's the time. Anyway, this 2.30 show seems to be a little bit more sedated than the later show, as in i didn't feel the music, singing and drums, penetrating my very being. I brought four friends to see the show for the first time and they enjoyed the show very much, it was just that I know what I saw and felt back in 2011 was amazing.

This was awesome show for my son, husband. and I It was a treat for my birthday and in my opinion it was really awesome, even better this time round. The acting was spot on and the special effects and costumes were beautiful. A powerful atmosphere filled with up and down emotion.

I bought tickets to see the lion king for my granddaughters for Christmas , and wasn’t expecting to enjoy it much myself, but it was amazing ! Great costumes , sets and the music was fabulous . My granddaughters (8 & 10) were mesmerised by it all and especially loved when the ‘animals ‘ came down the aisles .

During the performance of the lion king last night I had the worst panic attack. I’ve never been more scared in my life and this was the first time I enabled myself to be around people as I was advised it was a safe space.
How wrong I was
The staff. No one. No one cared. Even the people around us wanted to help and weren’t allowed.
I felt scared and out of sorts and I was made to feel like I had to just get out when your staff finally arrived. Ive never felt so small
I was made to feel like I was humiliating the environment
This is a mental health condition and I don’t want or need any of this to happen, I can assure you it’s more painful for me than you. I would have appreciated some care and consideration, non of which was offered, I was treat like an embarrassment …
I do need some feedback on this situation as I feel asthough people with mental disabilities are a minority in comparison to those physically seen and I am beyond appalled

My wife and I are visiting from Australia and couldn’t wait to see a west end show,and the lion king ticked all the boxes.
The sets were amazing and the artists set the scene truely an amazing show, it was the first time we’ve seen the show and loved it.
