From the second it begins its an immersive experience that keeps kicking it up a notch until you think they can go no further and yet they still do! The physicality and timing are truly exceptional and every movement, accent, expression is perfect and even when not the focal point they hold true to character and keep you laughing. A must see!!

The Play That Goes Wrong is a joy from beginning to end and an hilarious spoof on a classic ‘whodunnit’ theme.
The title really does sum it up - anything in the ‘play’ or the set that can go wrong, does!

The clue is in the title, this is a comedy, (Not Shakespeare), even before official start time, it starts. An amazing cast. This is incredibly clever, anyone can look/read sad. The comic timing here, along with the sound affects, backstage craft, all so in tune. Like magic. Outstanding live performance. If you fancy a laugh, this is for you. We were in Row G, for an older London Theatre, leg room not bad. The Theatre isn’t air conditioned, bring a cold/semi frozen bottle of water with you. Perfectly comfortable, I’d rather this than being frozen with max AC. We loved this Play, can’t wait to see their next offering. Again, for a Live Performance, simply outstanding. Bravo to all involved.

Have seen this twice now and each time it is has been side splitting. Absolutely brilliant piece of writing and the actors were great. Would advise to get there a bit early as there is a lot going on before it actually starts.

The reviews are completely true, it honestly is hilarious and impeccably timed! I booked this for my partner as he had never been to a show on the West End before so thought it would be a nice one to ease him in as all the reviews had been really good. We didn't know what to expect at all and I was worried it would be really cringey and fake humour but I was completely wrong! The actors were brilliant and it was so perfectly timed it felt like it really was a play that went wrong. Would highly recommend to everyone!

What a joy. Even before curtain up, the cast were busy making sure it was to be a fun evening's entertainment (did they ever find the missing dog?). The cast went from a zany Act 1 to a chaotic, manic Act 2. What a fun show! Highly recommended.

Hilarious, clever, brilliant! We went as a family with 2 teenagers and we all absolutely loved it. The laughs begin as soon as you sit down. Original and refreshing. I cannot recommend going to see this play highly enough and will certainly be going to see the other Mischief Theatre productions very soon.

Right from the start, I was laughing, crying, clutching stitches, slapping my hand on my thigh with the occasional howl. I was so impressed with the comedy, the writing, the improvisation from the cast and it was fun from start to finish. After the first half, I was already looking forward to watching it again! Very much recommend.

Murder mystery gone wrong

The stunning set of the drawing room at Haversham Manor promises a lot. The play was well executed by the actors trying to perform whilst props and furniture broke or went missing and the set gradually disintegrated around them as the play progressed. Very slap stick in style as you are on the edge of your seat waiting for the next thing to go wrong. A bit predictable but entertaining enough.
